The 100% gluten-free store has been confirmed by the owner, Lynn Shuter. G-Free NYC will be on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and will hopefully open in early March. This will be the first dedicated gluten-free retail store in Manhattan.
Lynn Shuter was the president of Better Bread which sold gluten-free mini banana and pumpkin breads at Lenny's in New York City. With a full-time marketing consultant job, Lynn could not grow the company as she had hoped. Now she will share her gluten-free experience in the form of a retail store.
Stay tuned at Gluten-Free Fun for more information including grand opening and events at G-Free NYC.

After some searching around on the Internet, it looks like the new gluten-free store is being opened by a former owner of a defunct gluten-free bread company. (Got that?) The store concept is so new that there's no website so Twitter is the only communication so far with only one lone tweet.
This could be an exciting addition to the gluten-free scene here in New York City. Stay tuned!
How do you like my TMZesque reporting on this one? I dedicate this post to SC :-)

I got an interesting follower on Twitter last night. From the name and the Twitter description it looks like there is a new gluten-free store coming to New York City this spring.
