1st Annual Celiac Education Day at NYU Langone Medical Center

The New York Langone Medical Center (NYULMC) Pediatric Celiac Disease and Gluten Related Disorders Program is hosting its 1st Annual Family Education Day. I am thrilled to be a part of this special day and to make my first journey back to New York City since moving to California in January. Join me on September 18, 2016 at 10am for this informative and exciting patient-centered day.

The New York Langone Medical Center Pediatric Celiac Disease and Gluten Relate Disorders Program is a multidisciplinary medical and psychosocial support program. Through education and peer support, the program aims to empower children and their families to understand their disease, instill confidence to discuss and advocate for their disease, reduce feelings of isolation, and increase knowledge of the gluten-free diet. The program not only provides efficient and comfortable visits with our health care providers, but also hosts a myriad of kid and family friendly gluten free events.
