Gluten-Free S'mores with Schar Honeygrams
SmoreSchar

What do you do when Schar sends you a complimentary box of gluten-free Honeygrams, chocolate bars, and marshmallows but you don't have easy access to a campfire? You get creative in the kitchen and make oven S'mores!

(Want your own Honeygrams? Keep reading!)

If you never had a s'more you are missing out. As someone living with celiac almost my entire life, I never had s'mores until I was an adult. Gluten-free graham crackers didn't exist back in the day. I could melt chocolate and marshmallows together, but it just isn't the same sweet sandwich without the crackers. Today, us celiacs are so lucky that Schar now makes these gluten-free Honeygrams. Now everyone can enjoy these yummy, gooey, sweet treats either in the kitchen or by the campfire.

gluten-free smores from Schar

Looking to make indoor S'mores with Schar Honeygrams... it's easy! A quick search on Google and I found tons of ways to toast these snacks up at home. I chose the toaster oven method. Layer a Honeygram, a piece of chocolate, a marshmallow, another piece of chocolate, and then a final Honeygram. Bake in a preheated oven at 350º for 4-5 minutes, squish, cool, and voila! Gluten-free #SmoreSchar!

So Delicious is Um, Well, So Delicious
One of the perks of being a gluten-free blogger is being sent gluten-free samples from time to time. Recently, I got a mystery white box sent to my office. When I opened the box, there were gloves inside. I was so excited to realize these gloves were to handle the dry ice that was surrounding five pints of So Delicious Dairy Free Coconut Milk Frozen Desserts.

I was excited about all of these free samples, but I was most excited about the Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free Cookie Dough dessert. COOKIE DOUGH!!! As you know, I am a lifelong celiac. There are many foods that I've never eaten in my life. Cookie Dough ice cream is one of these foods. The other flavor I was excited about was Cookies 'N Cream.

While you can taste a faint coconut flavor in some of these desserts, it wasn't overpowering. This was especially important to me since I am not really a coconut fan. The coconut milk adds a creaminess to these desserts that was really delicious.

Another favorite of mine were the Coconut Milk Fudge Bars. These were so creamy and I didn't feel guilty about eating them since there was no added sugar. To be honest, with the creamy fudgey flavor, you didn't need it.

I am going to pull a pun here and say these were SO DELICIOUS. I love that there are dairy-free options on the market that don't taste gross. These are the opposite. I would definitely be these again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a yummy dessert.

Thanks So Delicious!

Tim Hortons Certified Gluten-Free Macaroons
A few weeks ago I was sent free samples of the new Tim Horton's gluten-free macaroons. While I am not a huge coconut fan, these macaroons were good with a cup of coffee. I only ate one since it was really rich and I gave the rest away to gluten-free family members. I am happy to report that they are pre-packaged and certified gluten-free! This helps ensure a safe treat for Celiacs looking for a sweet bite on the go. The gluten-free macaroons are produced and packaged in a dedicated gluten-free facility and were just launched nationally, so you should be able to find them in a local Tim Hortons soon!

DUBLIN, OHIO (July 10, 2013) – For the estimated three million Americans affected with celiac disease grabbing a quick prepared snack when they’re on-the-go is never simple, as hidden sources of gluten in product ingredients is always top-of-mind.
